The Polish producer of memory modules signed contracts with Japanese Toshiba, the world’s leader in NAND Flash technology. Cooperation will be related both to distribution of Toshiba’s memory cards and pendrives and technological cooperation at production of GOODRAM memory cards and GOODDRIVE pendrives.
The contract, which has been valid since the beginning of June this year, is the effect of many years of cooperation between both companies. The latest NAND Flash technologies, originating from the Japanese plants of Toshiba, have already been applied by Wilk Elektronik since 2007. Thanks to its long-standing experience in semiconductor memories, the Polish company has been selected as Toshiba’s strategic partner in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.  – Toshiba has been a technological leader, which has inspired a few breakthrough solutions in the industry – emphasized Łukasz Gruszka, a Flash Product Manager of Wilk Elektronik SA – thanks to this cooperation memory cards with GOODRAM logo and USB pendrives with GOODRIVE logo will be even more competitive and efficient.
Wilk Elektronik SA will be also responsible for distribution of Toshiba branded memory cards and USB-drives. The Polish company will sell these products in the Polish market as also in Russia, Ukraine, in Baltic countries, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and the countries of former Yugoslavia.
