History
Wilk Elektronik S.A. was established in 1991. Since the very beginning the company has specialized primarily in RAM semiconductors, for use in computers, printers and other industrial computer devices.

With its narrow specialization and many years of experience the company has been recognized as an expert in its field, becoming in 1996 the biggest RAM distributor in Poland.

Two years later Wilk Elektronik S.A. established a cooperative relationship with Micron Technology, the second largest manufacturer of memory products in the world.

The dynamic growth of the company has contributed to a steady increase in its share of the memory market. In 1999 the company evolved into a joint stock company. Today, memory modules with a Wilk Elektronik S.A. warranty are synonymous with high quality.

Even though 2001 was a difficult year for the memory market, Wilk Elektronik S.A. managed to maintain its leading position. By that time the company had established cooperative relations with another global producer of memory products – Infineon, a former division of Siemens specializing in semiconductors. Its products are known and respected in Europe and worldwide for their outstanding quality. A few months ago another division separated from Infineon – Qimonda – focusing only on DRAM and FLASH type memory products.

As a result of the fruitful cooperation between the companies, Wilk Elektronik S.A. was appointed the authorized distributor of the Aeneon brand, a new line of DRAM modules produced by Infineon, on the markets of EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

In the middle of 2003 the company moved its headquarters to Łaziska, where a plant with offices had been built with a total floor space of 3.000 m2. Two production lines, with state-of-the-art FUJI equipment, were launched at the new Wilk Elektronik S. A. headquarters.

In 2004 Wilk Elektronik S.A. launched memory products under its own GOODRAM brand name on the Polish and Central and Eastern European markets. To date, the company has produced and sold in Poland nearly 400,000 GOODRAM memory modules. The brand is now being marketed by all the largest computer equipment distributors in Poland. To coincide with the introduction of its GOODRAM brand in Poland, the company started building a distribution network in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In 2005, as a result of steady growth, the share of exports in the total sales of Wilk Elektronik S.A. exceeded 40%.

Through the regular expansion of its product portfolio, in 2006 Wilk Elektronik S.A. introduced to the market the GOODDRIVE USB pen drive and GOODRAM flash memory card, adopting the Compact Flash and Secure Digital standards. The company is furthering its development plans by producing USB flash drives in Łaziska Górne.
